One thing that I love about my community, are the hidden gems found in it. When scouting for locations, it is always best to discover what is in your own backyard as well. Here in Oak Park, we have the cutest little conservatory. It isn’t as big as the others, but my kids love going there. This Family, requested to have thier shoot take place here, and I am so happy the Conservatory allowed us to shoot here. I love the way this session turned out, and now I just want to get my oldest here again to do another shoot

I love this time of year, outside of Fall, I think Spring tops second for me. I think the thought of new life emerging after a season of hibernation is amazing! It truly is evident of Gods masterpiece. To see the trees start to bloom, and flowers emerging where there was nothing. I love the beauty that is starting to surround us, and I am trying to encourage myself and you, to stop and try to find time to enjoy it. I know I get caught up in the busy, but my soul is needed the rest. I want to encourage you today, to simply stop and take in the new growth. You may notice the beauty in the everyday!
